BISOLA CALLS NIGERIANS HYPOCRITES
BIG BROTHER Naija 2017 1st runnerup, Bisola Aiyeola, simply known as Bisola, has described those criticizing the TV reality show as “hypocrites.”
While the show was running, many Nigerians described some of its contents as obscene, calling on the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, to halt it.
They said it was extolling immorality. While some filed court cases just to see that the controversial show was stopped, others took to the media to condemn it.
But reacting to the several calls, the mother of one, during a radio
interview on SoundCity FM, noted that even religious shows get
criticized. She said, “A lot of people are hypocrites. Even if Big Brother Naija was not on the air, it wouldn’t change the fact that people still do terrible things in the world. “It would not change anything. “Big Brother taught me a lot. It made me a stronger person. People who didn’t even watch the show had their own perception of it. “You cannot please everybody because even religious shows get criticized.
“There’s no bad blood. I wouldn’t have played so much with him if
I knew he was married”. She said when asked on her relationship with ThinTallTony.
MEANWHILE, ONE OF THE FINALISTS in the Big Brother Naija reality show, Tokunbo Idowu, also known as Tboss, has said evicting Kemen, a fellow ex-housemate was the right decision for the sexual abuse he suffered.
Recall that Kemen was in March disqualified after he was caught on tape fondling Tboss’ breast without her consent.
Tboss, who stated this while featuring on Channels Television, also revealed plans to take up acting as a career as well as hosting a radio show which she hopes to develop into television.
She disclosed that she is currently gathering contents for the show, and attending a couple of auditions.
According to Tboss, she has received a lot of scripts for movie
roles. She said, “I am overwhelmed, completely overwhelmed, there has been so much love. “I considered Kemen a friend. He was my go-to guy and my buddy, he encouraged me, he motivated me and he pushed me to mingle more with people especially at times when I didn’t feel like I fit in. So, for what happened to have happened, and just knowing all the people that look up to me, it was sad. “I was angry, humiliated and I did feel violated but, I don’t play the victim card and I honestly feel that the decision that Big
Brother took, was the only decision that could have been taken.”
