LALONG DAZZLES IN NOVELTY DEMOCRARY FOOTBALL MATCH

Earlier today (30th May, 2017), members of the Plateau State leadership cadre played a novelty football match to commemorate this year's Democracy Day.

 The Governor of the State, Simon Bako Lalong, captained the Executive Arm of government while the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Peter Azi, captained the Legislative Arm.

 At the end of hostilities, the Executives defeated the Legislators 4-3. Governor Lalong grabbed the opener and was adjudged the Man of the Match.

 The match took place at the new stadium. In his short address, Governor Lalong said the State will not neglect any sport and the new stadium will be completed expediently once funds become available.
