DAVID KING OPTS FOR VIRTUAL LAUNCH OF WHISPERING PALMS


Dear all, it is with the deepest sadness in my heart, pain in my kidney, agony in my pancreas, tears in my eyes, and anguish in my liver that I write to inform you that the planned launch and concert of my book titled "Whispering Palms" has been postponed due to the prevailing circumstances occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic.

A lot of work and resources had already gone into the planning and logistics for this event but God knows why. The culmination of this project which has taken six years to complete was supposed to have been sweeter than this but alas, here we are.

However, a VIRTUAL LAUNCH of the book will still happen on the 29th of March. This is how it will happen.

We will NOT be gathering at the venue but we will launch the book ONLINE and you can choose to pay online and have your copies delivered to you. At your request, an account number will be sent to you by DM and you can support us as God has put it in your heart, and then a means will be devised to get the copies to you so that you can begin to enjoy the rich content which the book has promised.

This was not our initial plan, but to safeguard ourselves from the coronavirus and to obey the instructions and advise given to us by the health authorities and the Plateau State Government, we had to choose this option.

When the dust finally settles and this coronavirus becomes a thing of the past, we will still organize the Whispering Palms Concert and we can all gather round and celebrate.
